El 26 de septiembre de 1921 se estrenó la película estadounidense Winners of the West, dirigida por Edward Laemmle e interpretada por Art Acord, Myrtle Lind, Burton Law, J. Herbert Frank, Burton S. Wilson, Jim Corey, Scott Pembroke, Bob Kortman. Productora: Universal Film Manufacturing Company.
Sinopsis argumental: Representación de la expedición del capitán John C. Fremont en 1849 que abrió el camino a los campos de oro de California.
